Tube Deck Media
Tube Deck Media, also known as Tube Settler Media, is a highly efficient solution used in water and wastewater treatment processes to enhance sedimentation and improve the clarity of treated water. This technology is commonly applied in clarifiers and sedimentation tanks to optimize the settling of suspended solids, enabling faster and more efficient removal of particles from the water.
Tube Deck Media consists of a series of inclined tubes or channels arranged in a honeycomb structure within the sedimentation tank. As water flows through these channels, the surface area for settling is significantly increased, allowing suspended solids to settle out of the water more quickly. The media directs the settled sludge to the bottom of the tank, where it can be collected and removed, resulting in clearer effluent.
